Things I've learned:
- Cracker Barrel's audio-book rentals are "da bomb" for long car trips
- a 27" TV screen seems really small and strange when you've been watching one twice as large for 2 weeks
- no length of time is enough when a little baby is involved
- cats do not forget how much they hate their car carrier in 2 weeks (and when they don't want to go in, there's nothing you can do about it.)
- I kind of enjoy being woken up by doggy kisses.

We miss you too! It won't be long until we're back in the midwest and visits will be a lot easier. Terra sends lots of doggie love your way; you are by far her favorite visitor (maybe because you spoil her just like we do)!
