I'm not sure why, but I take a strange pleasure in introducing Lily to my favorite foods. Before I left for vacation, Ryan and I went over to Carl and Kathleen's for dinner and some babysitting while they went car shopping. I was in charge of dessert and had a great time doing a make-shift chocolate fondue. Lily first insisted to me that she didn't like melted chocolate, but once I pulled out all the supplies she countered with "OK, let's have some of this first, but then I have a list of games for us to play."
The spread. Strawberries, pineapple, bananas, pretzels, melted chocolate and the extra special whipped cream topping. I think Lily would eat absolutely anything if it had whipped cream on top.

We rounded out our evening by playing tag, painting her toes and finally settling down for a movie.
